Becky has spent her whole life in Southwest Michigan, and has lived in Holland for the past 18 years. She is a member of Central Wesleyan Church in Holland, and has attended there for 16 years.
Professionally, she has worked in restaurant management and law enforcement in her early years, and most recently in operations support for Lakeshore Health Partners, and in leadership and director roles in church ministries. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing and English from Grand Valley State University, and a Master of Arts in ministry leadership from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.
In her spare time, Becky loves to read and write, and is completing her first mid-grade fiction novel, River of Possibilities (targeted for grades 4-8). She loves sports, especially University of Michigan and her all-time favorite sports team, the Chicago Cubs. She also loves animals (especially her beloved kitties), Disney, and laughing.
Most importantly, Becky is a disciple of Jesus Christ. Her heart beats for Him, and her walk with the Lord means everything to her. She is passionate about prayer, the Bible, helping the younger generation find their identities in Christ, helping others live into their fullest potential, being a voice for the helpless, families, and kids. She is a visionary, relational, creative, analytical, and passionate about mission. She is thrilled and excited to be a part of the Family LIFE Center team.
